Mountain Iris Speech Therapy

Mountain Iris Speech Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) in Larimer County. This position focuses on supporting young children with speech, language, feeding, and early communication development while partnering closely with families to build skills in natural environments such as the home or community.

In addition to early intervention services, there may also be opportunities to work with older children who are developing speech and language skills. These sessions may focus on articulation, language development, and social communication.

The ideal candidate is family-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping children develop strong communication skills during their most important developmental years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and ongoing therapy for children ages birth–3 through early intervention services.
  • Provide speech and language therapy for older children working on speech sound production, language development, and communication skills.
  • Deliver services in natural environments including homes, daycare settings, community locations
    Coach and support caregivers in implementing strategies that promote communication during daily routines.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and therapy goals.
    Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with early intervention guidelines.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators and other professionals (OT, PT, developmental specialists, and educators).
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain consistent communication with families regarding progress and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Colorado SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered).
  • Experience with early intervention or pediatric populations preferred.
  • Knowledge of family coaching models and natural environment intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Reliable transportation to travel throughout Larimer County.
