Job Description:

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) is hiring a full-time, pediatric-focused outpatient SLP at our RiteCare Hastings Clinic in Hastings, Nebraska. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!

About our department: MMI’s Speech-Language Pathology Department is made up of 25+ SLPs and 3 faculty with a wide range of specialties, including AAC, motor speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia. As part of an academic medical center, we are committed to student training, mentorship, and advancing the field through research and scholarly activity. Our department is dedicated to supporting all new hires across all backgrounds and experience levels.

Clinical Focus Areas:

• Evaluation and treatment of pediatric outpatients
• Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Pediatric feeding and swallowing
• Childhood Apraxia of Speech

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited university
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligible Clinical Fellow
• Nebraska licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
