The Colorado Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (CSHF) was created in 1984 as a philanthropic, 501(c) public nonprofit organization. One of CSHF’s missions is to assist students studying communication disorders in Colorado with the annual Elizabeth G. Jancosek Graduate Student Scholarship.
The Elizabeth G. Jancosek Graduate Student Scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled in a graduate program at the University of Colorado, the University of Northern Colorado, or Metropolitan State University of Denver. Students apply annually in the spring, and the board selects one student from each university to receive a $1000 scholarship. Applicants submit an essay, unofficial transcripts, a resume, and a letter of recommendation.
Contributions from individuals are vital to the foundation and its mission to support the scholarship program. Contributions may be a personal gift, memorial, or honorarium. CSHF is a tax-exempt organization under the 501 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code and contributions are deductible to the extent provided by section code 170. Tax deductible contributions may be sent to:
