Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
Start date: 1/15/2024
Children’s Speech and Reading Center (CSRC) is currently searching for a full-time or part-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) to join our organization and support our programs in Fort Collins and Loveland. CSRC is Northern Colorado’s only non-profit children’s clinic that provides free screenings for speech, language, and reading and provides services to families on a sliding scale basis. We pride ourselves in not turning away any child that is in need of our services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide in-office and off-site speech-language screenings; conduct speech-language screens at off-site preschool locations; identify, assess, and diagnose communication disorders (articulation, language, voice, and fluency); administer speech/language assessments and plan appropriate treatment; use electronic health records system to write evaluations, progress reports and daily notes; provide quality in-person and telehealth treatment to children with a variety of speech and language needs; counsel parents regarding specific communication disorders and provide suggestions to help increase carryover of skills to the home environment; collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services
